This Unit Plan is a very basic foundation for what students will be learning in Algebra 2 (Math 3) for the entire course. It reviews concepts from Algebra 1 with applications and connections that will be expanded upon during the course. Students are expected to learn how to find Rate of Change (slope) then incorporate that into learning how to create Linear Equations and Inequalities. Using the Linear Equations, the students should then learn how to Graph Linear Equations and Inequalities and analyze the data from said graphs. Finally, students will learn how to create and interpret Scatter Plots in an effort to show that not all information will be linear, as a way to ease into the more difficult Algebra ahead of them.
